airfield complex (the former Snowy Mountains Scheme airfield)
is just a few minutes from the heart of Cooma and 10 miles
from Snowy Mountains Airport, close to the ski fields and
the High Country and about 30 minutes flying time to the coast.
Polo Flat is fortunate in having community support and an
ideal environment for private flying - outside controlled
airspace, little traffic and good weather.

The
Snowy Aviation Academy offers residential courses, training
by experienced instructors in our Recreational Aviation
aircraft or yours, including RAAus aircraft and seaplanes
and Trikes, and RAAus Instructor training and GAA licence
conversions.
All at very competitive rates in uncrowded skies.
